This 3 pin XLR UTP transmitter wall plate sends signals to compatible Redback UTP solutions receivers. It converts a balanced XLR signal to an RJ45 connection suitable for transmission over Cat5/6 UTP cabling. The input level is DIP switch selectable, and the input volume is adjusted via the volume knob on the front.
The unit is powered from 24V DC, which can be connected to the DC socket on the rear, or it can be supplied through the Cat5/6 cabling from other compatible Redback products (see connection matrix). A 24V DC plug pack is supplied for connection to the DC socket. The Redback A4941 can be connected to compatible Redback products such as the A4942.
