This handheld megaphone is fitted with an alert/evac tone generator for use with building fire equipment systems and to aid in the evacuation of occupants from the building during an emergency. The required function (alert/evac/megaphone) is selected via a toggle switch and is activated by pressing the trigger.
To recharge batteries (NiMH batteries only) simply plug in the included AC plug pack. It requires 15 hours to fully charge. Output power 25W continuous, 35W maximum. Suitable for school events, conventions, demonstrations etc. Includes electronic siren for gaining instant attention. Light weight and easy to use. SPL = 116.2dB at 1W/1M @ 1kHz.
