A waterproof joiner for data cables with RJ45 back to back internal connection. The blue sealing o-rings have a split allowing cables which have already been terminated, or pre-made patch leads to be threaded through the connector housing.
Modular 8P8C RJ45 Wiring
Two standards are commonly used for defining common RJ-45 termination pinouts. 568A is the most commonly used in Australia for end to end termination of twisted pair cables.
When connecting a PC to a switch, a "straight-through" cable is required. This is 568A to 568A.
When connecting a PC directly to another PC a "crossover" cable is required. This is 568A to 568B.
