This 5 pin XLR UTP transmitter sends signals to compatible Redback UTP solutions receivers and converts the signal to a balanced XLR output with PTT connection.
The output level is DIP switch selectable, and the output volume is adjusted via the volume knob on the front of the unit. Power is supplied through the Cat5/6 cabling from other compatible Redback products (see connection matrix).
The Redback A4953 can be connected to the A 4954 or other compatible Redback product. Carries the balanced output and push-to-talk (PTT) signal to the A4954 ensuring seamless operation for paging microphones (PTT connects to pins 4 and 5 of the XLR socket).
