Designed to desolder through-hole componentry quickly and efficiently. This desoldering station uses a high performance ceramic heating element and a powerful vacuum pump for extracting solder from the PCB surface. Simply place the tip over the solder join, press the trigger and the vacuum pump removes the solder allowing the component to be removed.
The solder is then stored in a removable canister located within the handle for easy disposal. The control circuitry allows the vacuum pump to run continuously as long as the trigger is depressed. The easy to read white backlit display provides indication for set temperature and heater temperature which has an adjustment range between 160°C and 480°C. It is well suited to service centres, R&D or enthusiasts who like to tinker and repair projects! Includes 1.0, 1.2 and 1.5mm desoldering tips and nozzle cleaners.

What makes a desoldering station such a vital workbench tool?
Recycle: It’s a satisfying experience to recover useful parts from old and broken boards. A desoldering station is particularly useful for salvaging hard to find or expensive components.
Speed: Manual desoldering with braid or handheld pumps is a finicky slow process. A vacuum desoldering unit turns it into a single handed job, melting and sucking the solder at the same time.
Fix: Soldered in a capacitor the wrong way around? No problem! Quickly fix assembly mistakes with minimum of fuss. Great for schools, engineering labs and soldering workshops.
