This combination 60W soldering iron and 90W vacuum desoldering station provides enthusiasts and technicians with everything they need for soldering on the workbench in one compact unit. On the desoldering side, a powerful vacuum pump desolders through-hole parts quickly and efficiently. Simply place the tip over the solder join and hold down the trigger, the molten solder is sucked off the board and into a canister in the handle for disposal.
The temperature of the iron is electronically controlled and utilises a ceramic heater to rapidly reach its operating temperature in just 20 seconds. The iron includes a burn resistant rubber lead and ergonomic ‘pencil’ design to ensure your comfort and safety. The easy to read white backlit display on each unit provides a useful indication of set temperature and heater temperature. The soldering iron and desoldering gun units can be switched on/off individually. Includes 0.5mm fine point soldering tip. Includes 1.0, 1.2 and 1.5mm desoldering tips.

What makes a desoldering station such a vital workbench tool?
Recycle: It’s a satisfying experience to recover useful parts from old and broken boards. A desoldering station is particularly useful for salvaging hard to find or expensive components.
Speed: Manual desoldering with braid or handheld pumps is a finicky slow process. A vacuum desoldering unit turns it into a single handed job, melting and sucking the solder at the same time.
Fix: Soldered in a capacitor the wrong way around? No problem! Quickly fix assembly mistakes with minimum of fuss. Great for schools, engineering labs and soldering workshops.
