Prices

The prices throughout this site include GST. So you can be confident of price stability. At LEEGH, we make every endeavour to maintain prices on our website. However, factors beyond our control (such as changes in foreign currency exchange rates, changes in base material costs, etc.) may vary costs and we reserve the right to amend prices accordingly. 

Payments

When you purchase goods or services through the Website you must pay for those goods or services at the time of purchase. We do not guarantee the availability of goods advertised on the Website but will use reasonable endeavours to source the goods in a timely manner. You will be notified ASAP if goods aren’t available.  Unless expressly stated to the contrary all amounts expressed on this website are inclusive of GST.

Special Order

Special Orders are products that are ordered directly from our suppliers at your request, either in-store or on our website.  Delivery time will vary depending on location and supplier. LEEGH endeavours to ensure the product is available but cannot be liable for any items that may become unavailable at the time of order due to circumstances beyond our control. All orders must be paid in full before orders will be delivered.

Special Order products can not be returned or exchanged unless faulty, so please take extra care to ensure the product is right for you before ordering.

Stock Availability

At LEEGH we are constantly seeking new products and due to the rapid developments within the electronics industry some products on this website may become obsolete or discontinued during its life. In the event of this happening we apologise for the inconvenience and will contact you to advise of a similar product where possible.

Click & Collect

After placing a Click and Collect order through our website, the order will not be automatically accepted, nor is it automatically available for collection. Only after we have confirmed the stock is available for collection will the order be accepted, and collection be allowed. A ready to Collect email will be sent once these conditions are met.

If your products are in stock we aim to have your order ready as soon as possible. Click and Collect may be unavailable during major sales events and promotions. In peak trading periods or where item/s in your order are not available and need to be sourced from another fulfilment location, this may result in delays in fulfilment. In the event of circumstances beyond our control, for example, extreme weather, a flood or fire, Covid-19, we shall not be liable for any delay or failure to make your order available for collection within the estimated timeframe. Collection from stores can only be done during store opening hours.  Store opening hours can be found here.

Click and Collect orders cannot be modified or cancelled once your order has been confirmed. In this instance the order will be collected and then standard return policy applies & an administration fee will apply.

When collecting your goods from the store, you are required to supply a copy of your Ready to Collect email and photo ID for the goods to be released.

If you are not personally available to collect the goods, you may appoint a representative, please contact the store prior to collection to arrange this. The representative is required to supply a copy of your Click and Collect order confirmation email and photo identification at the time of collection.

Some products & deals shown on our website are only available to purchase and collect in store.

• Goods - Aerosols, flammable, heavy and bulky items cannot be sent by post.
International orders are not accepted.

  • Freight - Various freight options and rates are given on the order page. If purchasing heavy/bulk or multiple items, please contact the store 07 49726660 or info@gladstonehifi.com for a personalised freight quote.
  • Missing or damaged goods - At LEEGH, we've sent out thousands of parcels via post & courier over the last 25+ years and the number of items that have been genuinely lost is less than 0.001%. However it must be emphasised that our responsibility for the goods ceases when the goods are handed over to the nominated carrier. Risk on the goods passed to you when the goods leave our store. Please contact our store if you want to have goods insured against loss in transit at your cost - otherwise loss of goods in transit is at your own risk. All claims for missing and damaged goods in transit must be lodged with the carrier or local Post Office.
  • Insurance - If you wish to insure, we are happy to arrange it on your behalf. This insurance covers goods DAMAGED in transit. If you order by phone you will be asked if you wish us to insure on your behalf. We do not automatically issue insurance unless you specify. If you don't mention insurance you will NOT be insured.
    • Please understand that company policy is that we do not under any circumstances issue instructions to our shippers to leave shipments unattended when no one is at the delivery location. Shippers also do not ring mobile or phone numbers to confirm deliveries. It is up to the receiver to make arrangements to be at the delivery location to receive orders, or leave authorisation for an agent to sign for them, on delivery.  Tracking details which are sent to you by us, allows you to make these arrangements prior to delivery.
    Out of stock items - We will contact you if the goods are out of stock.
    Order acceptance policy - Your receipt of an electronic or other form of order confirmation does not signify our acceptance of your order, nor does it constitute confirmation of our offer to sell. LEEGH reserves the right at any time after receipt of your order to cancel your order in full, or part of your order, for any reason. Reasons for cancelling include but are not limited to an error in the price or the product description posted, product availability or if your order has breached our terms and conditions. If your order has been cancelled we will contact you within a reasonable time frame.

Promotions

We may from time to time offer discounts and promotions in respect of our goods and services. The specific terms and conditions of those discounts and promotions will be located on a specific location on the Website, however, these terms and conditions apply to those discounts and promotions in addition to any specific terms and conditions. The provision of any such offers may be removed at any time in our complete discretion. Warranties and guarantees

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

In addition to the statutory warranties, our goods come with a limited manufacturers’ warranty from the date of purchase covering against defects in material and/or workmanship on all of the goods that we sell. 
We will, at our sole option, repair or replace a defective product or provide a refund for the purchase price. 

The limited warranty exclude, to the extent permitted in the legislation (including under the Australian Consumer Law):

  • damage due to ordinary wear and tear, misuse, accident, abuse, alteration, substitution;
  • improper repair or warranty service performed by someone other than us or our authorised repairers, theft, disappearance;
  • lost and/or any other type of use causing deterioration.

You must bring your original receipt of purchase for claim under the warranty. 

Under the limited guarantee period when a product is returned for repair then only the remaining term of the original guarantee will continue to apply (e.g. if a product is purchased under the 12 month limited guarantee and returned for repair after 6 months from the date of purchase, once the repaired product is handed back to the customer, the remaining guarantee term will be 6 months.

Exceptions to guarantees. The consumer guarantees do not apply if you:

  • got what you asked for but simply changed your mind, found it cheaper somewhere else, decided you did not like the purchase or had no use for it
  • misused a product in any way that caused the problem
  • knew of or were made aware of the faults before you bought the product
  • asked for a service to be done in a certain way against the advice of the business or were unclear about what you wanted
