This wall plate provides a remote means of triggering the Alert and Evacuation tones and the Cancel function. The switches are momentary operation and must be pressed for up to 3 seconds to activate, and have protective “flip up” covers to prevent accidental operation. Connection is made to the A4500B via standard Cat5e cabling. There are two RJ45 ports on the rear of the wall plates, either of which can be used. Only one A4578 wall plate is allowed to be connected to the A4500B via the “To Wall Plate” RJ45 port. If the A4578 has a connection problem with the A4500B main unit, the LED on the wall plate will flash.

If the A4578 has a connection problem with the A4565A main unit the LED on the wall plate will flash. Remote triggering is only available when the A4565A is in “Auto” mode which is selected by the key switch on the front of the A4565A.
All wall plates assembled by Altronics are supplied with two facia clip on covers. These are designed to match your current decor. Simply clip on the desired cover after installation.
